9 MayMarketing today is tougher than it ever has been, people have learned to tune out marketing on so many levels. At this point you NEED to get their attention in the first 2-3 seconds or they are already gone. Internet marketing is even worse, people have no time for ads, and they are quick to move on if they think you are selling something. The key to catching peoples eye in that critical first few seconds is to Be New, Be Cool, or Be Gone. It has to be novel, different, there has to be some kind of wow factor right up front.
