Telus has struck a deal with Apple to carry the hugely popular iPhone. The iPhone is arguably the best smartphone since the introduction of the blackberry. This move is great for Telus customers as Telus is developing a new high-speed network to accommodate the iPhones. Up till now Rogers has had the exclusive on the iPhone in Canada, but that all changes next month. If you are still using Shaw’s old cable modems (Terayon or CyberSurfr) call Shaw Cable and ask them to send you a new upgraded modem. You will find a HUGE difference. Or at least I did! I had complained to Shaw about slow speeds, as a result they sent me a new modem that is compatible with their new higher speeds. They sent me a Motorola SB5102. As expected it only took a minute to swap out.
